Spring Tea Time - Chef Carla Hall of The Chew Bakes With Love

Chef Carla Hall's NEW delicious home-baked goods are tea time ready!
Co-host of ABC's The Chew, Carla Hall is an American Chef and was a finalist in the fifth and eighth seasons of Top Chef. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, she is also author of:

Carla’s Comfort Food: Favorite Dishes from Around the World will be published March 25, 2014, and her first cookbook, Cooking with Love: Comfort Food That Hugs You, was published in November 2012 and recently re-released in paperback.

Top Chef
Carla attended L' Academie de Cuisine in Maryland and finished her culinary training as a sous chef at Henley Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. As a wonderful consultant, I saw Carla on Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition with Chris and Heidi Powell. She made a lower fat alternative to Southern Fried Chicken with a recipe for oven-baked but crispy version. I also enjoy trying lower fat yet equally delicious recipes such as my Applewood Smoke Rub Rotisserie Chicken!

Chef Carla may be known for her "Hootie Hoo" laid back style, but she combines her classic French training with her southern upbringing.  What I like is her balance between healthy ingredients and delicious results. So I was happy to try her new line of baked goods which you can find Online here: "With Love, Carla Hall"
I completely agree with her philosophy. Comfort food can be wholesome, nutritious and delicious.

Spring Tea Time
Now that the weather is getting warmer, you may want to think of doing a lovely tea party to celebrate. Chef Carla's baked goods are absolutely moist and home-made in appeal. They could pass as your own! She has a full assortments of tea cakes, quick breads, cream filled cookies, dessert bars and so much more.

These Chocolate Hazelnut Praline Petite Cookies below are really crunchy-good and fun! I'm serving them in ice cream dishes but they can also top your ice cream or pudding desserts.
