Blackened Agave Salmon

Fast & Easy! Total prep time 5 minutes. Agave & fresh ground black pepper means this tasty seafood twist is sure to become a summer favorite.

BLACKENED AGAVE SALMON

1 3-4 oz piece of salmon or a salmon patty
1 tsp Naturel Organic Raw Blue Agave Syrup
1 Dash Old Bay Seafood Seasoning
1 Sprinkle of Cracked Black Pepper to Taste

Heat pan over medium high heat. Spray with Pam and add your salmon fillets, drizzled with Agave Syrup. Cover with lid and sear for about 1 minute and flip. Add crushed black pepper & Old Bay seasoning to flipped side. Do not over cook! Serve hot over Organic Baby Lettuce Greens.
Agave syrup is made from the desert Agave plant which is also used to produce Tequila and is up to 3 times sweeter than sugar but has fewer calories. Using it in this recipe allo
ws for quick blackening of the salmon without drying it out. Your fillets will be incredibly juicy and tender with this recipe. Reminds me of the incredible Pan Blackened Salmon I first enjoyed in Cape Cod, MA.

PHOTO: Light & Dark Organic Agave Syrups by Naturel. Organic Agave Syrup is making its way into a lot more products than just Tequila these days.
Chocolate #9 is 100% sweetened with Organic Agave and boasts slow burn energy in a Belgian style dark chocolate shot! It tastes like a dark chocolate pudding and is much better for you than Enervitene Sport Gel and Cliff Shots.
