Christmas is just around the corner and you'll want to look great shopping, traveling to family gatherings and going out. Sometimes all three in one day! So it's important to be comfortable while doing it. I've chosen some of my favorite kicks, bags and an outfit that will throw them a few curves at the same time.

Ruby Ribbon Jane Top in Heather and Fit and Flair Skirt in Black

Ruby Ribbon separates are incredibly comfortable to wear while acting as stealthy shape wear under it all. That's because the pieces have built in control panels just where you need them. 
The Jane Top has strategic layers with silicone grips along the hem to keep it down which unlike other shape wear, really stays put. I wore it out as you can see above and tucked in as seen below. No matter, it stayed put!

The Fit & Flare Skirt likewise from Ruby Ribbon has great movement and fun built in. The top of the skirt really pulls you in so you may need only wear control top pantyhose if you want extra firmness. In fact I am wearing their nude and invisible V-Neck Slip under it all. Leather satchel top handled bag by Michael Kors

Michael Kors Leather Bags are on trend this year and our Lord & Taylor photo shoot is inspired by MK's #SidewalkSpotted campaign. This bag comes with a leather tassel on the gold MK monogram and a leather with gold chain detachable shoulder strap. An outside zippered pouch and inside zip pocket make this my favorite all around bag. 

Python Leather Clutch

Python Leather Clutch transitions well for an evening out. This one has a thin leather strap that tucks neatly away for carrying it in "clutch mode". Just big enough to stash some cash, cell, ID and makeup for an evening out. Python is very on trend and the texture of the scales on a bag like this carries a beautiful sheen and interest. Musse & Cloud Millie Booties in Black Suede look great for an evening out when you might encounter a bit of rain or snow. So comfortable, they are easy to get off and on with the heel zipper in back. These are made of Spanish Suede Leather and feel amazingly toasty. Silver eyelets add interest and a bit of flash. As you can see the outfit itself is rather plain but with some interesting ruching at the waistline due to the cut and stretch of the fabric. Here are a few accessories, namely fox fur and diamond jewelry to brighten it up for an evening out.
