Fresh fish delivered to your door from NYC's Historic Fulton Fish Market
Start Fresh - Seafood Delivered Right to Your Door
You don't have to be a professional chef to get fresh seafood from NYC's iconic Fulton Fish Market delivered right to your door. Go online and you will find a wide variety of fish and shellfish ready to be shipped fresh to you. Shown above are: Flounder, Halibut, Salmon and Gulf Shrimp (Prawns).
Fulton Fish Market is one of the world's largest second only to Japan's. They expertly fillet and seal your fish order into manageable portion sizes. The taste, freshness and quality of the fish is incredible. Arrives ready to cook or freeze. My order arrived at my request on Friday and was ready to cook that evening. Perfect for busy chefs. Visit them to order online: FultonFishMarket.com Here's a fast, easy and scrumptious recipe for the Halibut:

Halibut en Papillote or Parchment

1 tsp Lemon Flavored Coconut Oil (Nature's Approved)
1 tsp Garlic Flavored Coconut Oil (Nature's Approved)
1 tsp Chili Powder
1 Chopped Garlic Clove
2 1/2 tsp Dijon Mustard
1 tsp white wine vinegar
1/2 tsp seasoned salt or fish rub
Culinary Parchment Cooking Bags - (Paper Chef)

Season your Halibut Fillets with the above spices and condiments and set aside while you preheat the oven to 450 degrees. I used the Convection setting on my Cuisinart Microwave Oven & Grill.

Place the fillets in the parchment bags and then place on the oven rack to bake for 8-10 minutes or until opaque inside. I used my Mauviel Mini Roasting Pan as it heats thoroughly and evenly. Fits perfectly in my convection oven too. See them all at Mauviel.com

Portioned for Success
Having your meats and entree items in meal sized portions saves time in meal prep. I've had a similar service for years but ButcherBox goes one further by offering grass fed, free range meats shipped right to your door. Just take out a frozen shrink wrapped portion and place in the microwave to defrost if you are in a hurry. Otherwise, take out a few portions and allow to defrost in the refrigerator overnight.

My Cuisinart Convection Microwave Oven and Grill defrosts perfectly, allowing you to select either time or weight. I tried the Beef Box and it was amazing, especially the thin sliced beef. Perfect for Beef Teriaki over sesame noodles. More than a month's worth of pre-portioned meat arrives frozen at your door, ready for the freezer. Stand outs from the Beef Box include ButcherBox's: Ribeye Steak, Beef Top Sirloin, Thin Sliced Beef.  Fantastic! Visit ButcherBox.com online and here are some tastey cuts.

TIP: Grass Fed Meats cook about 30% faster than grain fed cuts. Therefore you will find that cooking times are going to fly by. So that I don't over-cook these cuts, I prefer to grill them.

Grass Fed Beef Burgers cook faster than grain fed.
Grass Fed Thin Sliced Beef can be added to your favorite stir fry recipe.
TIP: Go light on the seasoning. A little salt and pepper are all you need.  Serve with Worcheshire and/or Steak Sauce if you wish.
