Moro Designer Jewelry: Silver Ring & Fish in Rose Gold

Miami, FL I spent my honeymoon in Miami and can still remember those huge Margaritas and the delicious Cuban cuisine at the city's nightspots...which never seem to close. Beautiful surroundings like these could only inspire artistry such as can be seen in these designer jewelry pieces by Miriam Blufstein Sredni who was born in Lima, Peru. Delicately intricate would be how I would describe the two pieces we wore to Bocca di Bacco's grand opening in a trendy Chelsea neighborhood in NYC last week.

Silver Ring with Rhodium & White Sapphire

Silver Ring with Rhodium and White Sapphire

Silver ring with Rhodium and White Sapphire. Can be used as a charm on a Rhodium Gold chain or leather or gold. Add a beautiful 18k Rhodium Gold chain (18" or 20") to compliment this beauty.

Silver Ring with Rhodium and White Sapphire
This Silver Ring with Rhodium and White Sapphire looks beautiful against black or dark evening attire. The White Sapphire is cut for brilliance and sparkle...just what you want for a night out. Shown here with a chain with a lobster claw clasp. Rhodium is a rare element in the Platinum group and is resistant to corrosion. In fact sterling silver is often plated with rhodium for tarnish resistance. White gold is often plated with rhodium to improve it's appearance. The sparkle and intricate design of Moro's Fish in Rose Gold is just the right balance to compliment most any outfit. The diamonds and rubies give it just enough "glitter" to be understated yet elegant. Enameled eyes and a sweet smile add a bit of whimsy to this artistic creation. The color of the Rose Gold offers a unique shade of this precious metal. Shown here with an 18" Platinum Gold Chain, it and the diamonds add coolness to the entire jewelry ensemble. Meet the Artist-Miriam Blufstein Sredni
After finishing her undergraduate studies at Barry University, in 1990, Miriam Blufstein opened “Photos & Photos,” an art gallery-studio specializing in photography. Her portfolio spanned from private and commercial photography featured in several magazines including "Town and Country," to advertising campaigns for high-end clients including Bal Harbour shops. In 1993, she partnered with Dr. Frederic Brandt in the creation of a line of cosmetics. In 2000, she went back to complete her MFA at Barry University, while pursuing several photography projects. Her portrait of artist Juan Fernando Bastos (Los Angeles) was published in the magazine “Cosas,” in Bolivia, and a selection of works from this period illustrated the Italian Calendar, "L'Azienda Agricola Di Meo."

As a professional photographer who focuses both in landscape and portraiture, Miriam has created images that are subtle and stimulate the viewers’ imagination. Her ongoing quest for creative ideas and images inspired her to travel to the United States, South America, and Europe. In 2013, during her travels, she decided to create Moro Designs, a jewelry line in gold and silver that explores delicate shapes and forms. She also uses non-traditional materials, such as rhodium, and experiments with semiprecious stones and enamel to create unique custom-made jewelry.
