Fashion Week, NYC is a lovely time to get a peek at street style as show attendees, models and editors like myself run from show to show. One of the trends this fall includes comfy suede booties. I was looking at Rag and Bone's fall collection along with Prada and Givenchy suede booties and noticed lots of fringe along with peep toes. These make for a lovely transition into fall!  Here are some of my favorites along with a few tips at the end of the article on keeping them all clean despite rainy autumns in New York.

I can remember visiting my grandmother and going to her bedroom to play at her vanity. Among the fragrant little perfume bottles and powder puffs was a brush set in sterling silver. The bristles were of natural hair otherwise known as boar bristle. My mother had a similar brush and her hair always had a beautiful shine. England based Mason Pearson and Kent & Sons brushes are two of the oldest, heirloom quality brush makers who still produce them to this day. In fact Princess Diana was said to keep a Mason Pearson Brush in her handbag. I have a travel sized Kent Boar Bristle brush in my bag!

I was given a VIP, front row seat for Style Fashion Week's NYFW SS2016 shows at opulent Gotham Hall at 36th and Broadway. Also present on the front row were celebrity guests, Randy Jackson of American Idol and Frankie Grande star of the Broadway Musical, Rock of Ages.

The shows were running late but did not disappoint! After being seated, the first show up was the Glaudi Collection by Latina fashion designer, Johana Hernandez.  Here is the video link to the show and you can see me taking photos in the front row on the right.
