"Get Ready with Me" Red Carpet Edition

Getting ready for a Red Carpet appearance this holiday season? See how to seamlessly pull it all together!
Let's face it. The holidays are already here and with them, red carpet charity events, galas, Christmas parties, and balls. Add in appearances at the ballet, theatre, and holiday concerts.  Most of us will be invited to at least a few of these this season.  I regularly attend all of these types of events so have a system of getting ready that works really well and probably will for you too!

How you dress will depend on: The Venue, The Occasion, The Weather

Philadelphia PA, Area Recapping this year's incredible Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the 7th Annual Wigs & Wishes Gala and elegant fashion prosthetics for women from Amoena!
Some of the most psyche challenging issues for women cancer survivors is the loss of hair and the removal of breasts or breast tissue (lumpectomy). Each of these changes can make a woman feel like she has lost some of her personal, feminine identity. Starting with her crowning glory, celebrity hairstylist and HSN favorite, Martino Cartier answered the call for women and children wishing to "look cancer-free" while battling this disease. He first founded "Friends are by Your Side" from which Wigs and Wishes emerged. Working with Follea Wigs and numerous hair salons across the country, Martino styles and Follea donates beautiful European Hair Wigs for women and children chemotherapy patients each year. Can you imagine what an incredible confidence booster this is?

7th Annual Gala included a full-course dinner and entertainment.

Now in its 7th year, Martino, Paula Abdul, and Taylor Dayne hosted a gala evening which raised thousands of dollars for both wigs and to grant wishes to women and children battling cancer.
