New Fall Arrivals from Crocs: The Suede Invasion

Two reasons why Crocs Rocks this fall-winter 2013! NEW Adela Suede Leather Moccasins and Boots

November is Native American History Month!  I can't think of a better way to celebrate than by rocking these two new Native inspired footwear styles from Crocs. These NEW Fall arrivals are a far departure from Crocs ubiquitous rubber garden shoes they made so popular. Suede Leather is the order of the season which can easily go from fall to winter-wear.

Crocs Adela Suede Moccasins in Cinnamon-Espresso
This is some of my favorite footwear from my Native American ancestors. In fact, I used to make and decorate my own moccasins so I'm rather picky on quality and design. The Crocs Adela Suede Moccasin in this cinnamon color are just what I look for. A substantial, grippy sole and sturdy leather construction makes these very similar to my favorite Minnetonka Moccasins only better. These have a bit of arch support which many other mocs lack. The rubber outsoles allow these mocs to be worn anywhere and you will see stylish NYC ladies sporting them sans socks. Very comfortable to wear but remember, they need time to stretch so try wearing them in your bare feet until they do.

Crocs Adela Suede Boots in Expresso-Walnut
I really like the color of these on-trend suede boots but the real pop of surprise came with the jazzy Missoni-esque lining. Beautiful and colorful zig-zags add a burst of color contrast to the otherwise subdued Expresso-Walnut colorways. Just like the Moccasins, these Adela Boots are made for walking and require very little if any break-in time. Same great-gripping soles as the Moccasins too. Suede Care
I highly recommend treating these suede leather shoes to a waterproofing. You can get the UGG Sheepskin Suede Care Kit online or from The Walking Co. I also use Atsko Water-Guard Permanent Water and Stain Repellent which requires only ONE treatment. Either of these will keep your suede shoes and boots looking like new while repelling the rain and snow when they come.
