First Ever Fashion Extravaganza to Run Alongside Cannes Film Festival

This year the Cannes Film Festival will have a new rival for the public's attention.

Cannes, France Coming this May 20-22nd, the newly launched Cannes Fashion Festival will take center stage amid style and trend setters already attending the noted film festival. It makes perfect sense, after all. You have a captive star-studded audience and France is the couture capitol of the world. What could be better? Perhaps Paris Fashion Week but that's been done before!

Yours truly has been chosen as an Official Journalist for this inaugural event and offered press accreditation for the shows at Cannes.  You can see me as well as the other Journalists who will be covering the festival and offering fashion content here:

Ms Laura Millet, Fashion Director of Cannes Fashion Festival said, “We are incredibly excited to announce the first ever Cannes Fashion Festival, and we have high hopes for it to become a staple on the international fashion calendar. 

The Cannes Fashion Festival will be showcasing fashion in all its vigour and diversity, and therefore welcomes designers of Haute Couture, Bridal, Lingerie, Sportswear, Jewelry, Swimwear, Accessories as well as classic Mens and Womenswear. Each designer will receive a catwalk fashion show, promotion and online brand recognition in addition to official receptions with the other designers each evening.

After attending New York Fashion Week and running live streaming video for London Fashion Week, I look forward to bringing you content from this fashion festival as well.
